Chaoyang Pavilion
![]()

The name means literally 'sunrise pavilion', and that is the reason this pavilion was made. From this point you have a beautiful view in the early morning, when the sun rises up to the sky. It separates the 1000-pace Beach from the 100-pace Beach. Now there is a marvellous collection of Guanyins carved in wood you can visit. Beneath it is Chaoyang Cave, a strange formation of stones with Chinese inscriptions that make an oval cave.
