Yu Bei Ting

Yu Bei Ting (which means a pavilion with an imperial stele in it) lies south of Haiyin Pool and has been built in the Qing dynasty during the reign of Yong Zheng in the year 1734. The square pavilion is 9 meter high, and has a side of 9.5 meter. In the middle of the pavilion stands an imperial stele made in 1931 with a height of 5.2, a dept of 0.32 and a width of 1.32 meter. The top of the stele is decorated with Buddhist figures and the engraved inscriptions tell about the restaurations that were done in Putuoshan.
